I don't know how I managed to miss the OkCupid blog's post on gay vs. straight users. Maybe that was one of the many weeks last year where I was ill; who knows. Here are some (slightly modified) figures from the post to think about:
This one almost speaks for itself. Users who self-identified as heterosexual were asked whether they had had a sexual experience with a member of the same sex (and if not, whether they would like to). Look at the gender disparity. Over half of heterosexual (heterosexual, not bisexual) women have either tried it or want to try it.
This graph made me laugh heartily to myself. Compared to straight women, gay women are more adventurous, artsy, kinky, and... well... they're just more in general. Except, ironically, sporty. Also of note: straight women really love Jesus, but gay women really love drugs.
A new kind of problem
